Connection with LinkedIn

SWPanel allows the CUSTOMER to connect the LinkedIn company Page they administer in order to review, within their own panel, information about their presence on this social network. This connection is optional, is always initiated by the CUSTOMER explicitly from their panel, and may be revoked at any time.

Access is read-only. SWPanel does not publish content, does not moderate or reply to comments, does not send or read messages, and performs no action on behalf of the CUSTOMER.

Information collected

When the CUSTOMER authorises the connection, SWPanel accesses only the information the CUSTOMER has authorised, which may include:

• The name and identifier of the LinkedIn company Pages on which they are listed as an administrator
• The details of the most recent post on that Page: text, date and link
• Basic identifying information about the person authorising the connection: name, identifier and email address
• The access permissions (tokens) granted by LinkedIn

SWPanel does not access the CUSTOMER's network of contacts, their messages, the personal data of followers or of people who interact with their Page, nor information about Pages the CUSTOMER does not administer.

Use of the information

Information obtained through LinkedIn is used exclusively to:

• Show the CUSTOMER, within their own panel, the most recent post from their company Page
• Warn them when they have not published for an extended period
• Complete the SEO analysis of their website with information about their social media presence

The data obtained is not used for advertising, commercial or external marketing purposes, nor to build profiles unrelated to the operation of the service, nor to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Sharing of the information

SWPanel does not share data obtained through LinkedIn with third parties, except in the following cases:

• Where strictly necessary for the technical operation of the service (for example, technology infrastructure providers).
• Where there is a legal obligation or a requirement from a competent authority.

Under no circumstances is data obtained from LinkedIn sold or transferred for commercial purposes.

Storage and security

Data associated with the LinkedIn connection is stored on secure systems, applying appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

SWPanel does not store LinkedIn passwords. Authorisation is carried out using secure tokens managed by LinkedIn's OAuth system, and the information obtained is visible only to the CUSTOMER within their own panel.

Data retention

Data obtained through LinkedIn is retained while the connection remains active, and is refreshed with each periodic analysis of the website. If the CUSTOMER revokes the connection, it is deleted immediately.

Once the CUSTOMER's SWPanel account is deleted, the associated data will be securely erased or anonymised, unless applicable regulations require it to be retained for a specific period.

Data deletion and user rights

The CUSTOMER may revoke access and delete all associated data at any time, through any of these routes:

• From their panel: the SEO section of their service, Social tab, removing the LinkedIn connection.
• From their LinkedIn account: Settings and privacy, Data privacy, Other applications, Permitted services; removing SWPanel's access.
• By request through the contact channels indicated in this Privacy Policy.

Compliance with LinkedIn policies

SWPanel complies with the LinkedIn API terms of use and its developer policies. The data obtained is used solely to provide the functionality described in this document, the minimum necessary permissions are requested, and no data is transferred to third parties for purposes other than those stated here.

Changes to this provision

SWPanel may update this section to adapt it to regulatory or technical changes, or to LinkedIn requirements. Any modifications will be published together with the updated Privacy Policy.
