Starting with this update, we are incorporating a powerful SSH console embedded directly into the browser, available in the following environments:

• All Hosting plans with CHRoot enabled.

• All Cloud Servers, VPS or dedicated servers with SWPanel installed, including installations in Self-Hosting mode.

• Access to a recovery SSH console for all Cloud servers hosted on the SW Hosting infrastructure, ideal for diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks.

New service location certificates Now, SWPanel also allows you to request service location certificates for Hosting plans.

Service certificates in the RHA module The RHA module allows you to issue service ownership and location certificates to your customers, using your own data as the provider. This way, your customers can quickly and easily submit them when requesting their Digital Kit.

Traceability and verification of certificates issued by SWPanel From now on, all certificates issued by SWPanel —service ownership, service location, and ISO 27001 security— include a unique QR code that allows anyone to verify their authenticity.

By scanning the code, the certificate can be viewed online, checking its validity and ensuring that it has not been modified. This way, we guarantee maximum trust and transparency in every document.

New Message Center Introducing the new Message Center, now more organized, interactive, and fully customizable.

SWPanel will display much more information, adapting to your needs. From the SWPanel preferences, you can choose what you want to appear in this center, so you only see what really interests you. In addition, we have made it much more interactive: from each message, you can act directly and perform the requested action quickly and easily, without any intermediate steps.

New service analysis list This new list summarizes all your services and classifies them according to the add-ons they have active. It can also generate a list of renewals and notify you of those that do not have auto-renewal enabled, allowing you to enable it directly from the same panel.

We have incorporated significant improvements to the contextual menu for services within SWPanel, with the aim of making it more intuitive, accessible, and functional:

SWPanel Self-Hosted Licensing Activating your SWPanel Self-Hosted is now easier than ever. We have improved the activation section and integrated it into a new Onboarding process that will guide you step by step so you can activate your first SWPanel Self-Hosted quickly, clearly, and intuitively.

Hosting data within Cloud Hosting The information regarding the registration date, expiration date, and billing method displayed on the Hosting Plan Dashboard when it is created within Cloud Hosting has been improved and expanded.

We are introducing a major improvement to SWPanel: new modular management of Hosting Templates, designed to offer you greater flexibility, control, and standardization in the creation of Hosting plans.

From now on, you will be able to define your Hosting Plans using three types of independent templates:

• Hosting Parameters Template, where you define the assigned resources (space, traffic, limits, etc.).

We have improved usability and the information displayed to the customer in email management when services have been stopped.

From now on, SWPanel generates contextual menus and available actions in real time in the email management section, adapting them specifically to the services whose email has been deactivated, either by the user or by a reseller.

In addition, the status analysis and control of available options have been improved, presenting them in a clearer and more intuitive way according to each situation. This allows for a more fluid, accurate, and quick resolution-oriented management experience.

Improvements to the SWPanel Action History search engine

We have improved the SWPanel Action History search engine to provide a more intuitive and efficient search experience.

Now, SWPanel interprets the terms entered by the user more naturally, automatically adjusting the internal segmentation parameters and search fields to provide more relevant and accurate results.

In addition, response times for history storage servers have been optimized, allowing searches to be significantly faster.

HSTS security for Hosting Plans

The implementation of the HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) option in SWPanel's Hosting plans reinforces the security of web communications by forcing browsers to connect exclusively via HTTPS, even if the user manually enters a URL with HTTP.

With HSTS activated, when a visitor accesses the website for the first time, the browser receives a special header that indicates that all future connections must be made securely (HTTPS) for a certain period of time. This prevents insecure connections from being made and protects the user from attacks such as man-in-the-middle or certificate spoofing.

Advantages for the customer:

• Greater security: Prevents visitors from accessing the website through unencrypted HTTP connections.

• Protection against attacks: Reduces the risk of interceptions and attacks by intermediaries.

Implement the HSTS Security option for Hosting Plans created on servers with SWPanel from Debian 10 onwards. This new feature also applies to shared Hosting plans.

Timeline of actions in your Service Dashboard

We have added direct access to the Timeline of actions you have taken on your Service in the command and control menu of your Service Dashboard. The timeline is very useful for having a timeline of everything you have done on your Service and the actions you have asked SWPanel to execute on it. Improvements, updates, extensions or any type of action is reflected in the Timeline.

The process for creating a new service has been improved, with new control systems implemented and more information provided to the user during the creation process.

Customer onboarding

Customer onboarding has been enhanced to make it faster and more efficient. It now allows integration with already registered customers, automatically transferring the onboarding cart to the service creation process.

Mailbox space notification

The mailbox usage notification email has been improved and is now sent directly to the analyzed account. A new report email has also been created and is sent to the main SWPanel user with a detailed list of all email accounts that have been notified.

Web Export

We’ve improved and expanded the options to export your website from SWPanel!

Now, in addition to the classic FTP, you can perform exports using SFTP and FTPS protocols, which offer higher levels of security:

• SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol): uses the SSH protocol to establish a point-to-point encrypted connection, ensuring secure data transfer. It’s ideal if you're looking for a simple, secure option that doesn't require additional certificate configuration.

• FTPS (FTP Secure): is an extension of the FTP protocol that adds encryption support via SSL/TLS. This option is useful if you need compatibility with systems that require digital certificates and greater control over connection security.

You choose the protocol that best suits your infrastructure and security needs.

Direct Upload to Amazon S3

We've added a new feature that allows you to automatically send a compressed copy of your website to an Amazon S3 bucket. This enables you to keep a secure copy in the Amazon cloud, making your backup and recovery strategies easier.

You only need to configure an S3 account in SWPanel by entering the access data (Access Key, Secret Key, and bucket name), and you’ll be able to use this option for both one-time exports and scheduled exports.

Activating DNSSec on subdomains

You can now activate DNSSec on subdomains directly from SWPanel. To make sure everything works correctly, there are a few requirements you need to meet:

1. The main domain must have an active DNS Hosting Plan.

   • This is necessary because DNSSec can only be activated on domains that are properly managed within SWPanel.

2. DNSSec must be activated on the primary domain.

   • If the main domain does not have DNSSec, the subdomain will not be able to activate it either. You can check and activate it in your domain settings within SWPanel.

3. The main domain must be in your SWPanel domain portfolio.

   • You can only manage DNSSec on domains that you have registered and managed within your SWPanel account.

4. DNS management of the main domain must be done from SWPanel.

   • If the main domain has its DNS servers at another provider, it will not be possible to activate DNSSec on subdomains from SWPanel.

Now, in most SWPanel lists, you can add internal notes using an icon that you will find on each item in the list or from the context menu of each list.

Cloud Status

Implements a new label in the service tree for Cloud servers showing the server status, “Online”, “offline”, “stopped”, “parking”. This new label allows, at first glance to see, in the same service tree, the Cloud you have active and the ones that are stopped.

PHP 8.4

Implements the PHP 8.4 option on all Cloud servers from Debian 11 onwards and all shared hosting plans Startup, Plus, Growth and Unlimited.

Logout button in top toolbar

Implements the option to display the SWpanel Logout process shortcut button from the top bar. The display of this button is configured through the SWPanel preferences, menus tab. By default it is hidden.

Bugs

• Fixed bug in the assignment of access profiles by services, it did not correctly identify some of the generic profiles to assign.
• Fixed bug in the modification of mail autoresponders from the mail account section.

Access profiles

• • Implement a new way to manage and organize access profiles. Separating on the one hand the SWPanel Standard profiles and on the other hand the custom profiles.

Action Controls for Clouds

Improves the controls SWPanel performs before performing the following actions on Clouds, Stop/Start, Restart, Reinstall, Reinstall, Park, Clone and Clone without data. Implements more cloud status checks and more details at each time of the action to be performed and the possibilities or incompatibilities of the action before it is performed.

Bugs

• • Show the cloud server name in the stop action. The name of the server being stopped was not displayed and could be misleading.
• • Fixes permissions error where it was not allowed to create an autoresponder if the access to SWpanel was done through an email account login.

Improvements

Navigation through RHA module pages

Improves the navigation and goback process of the different pages of the RHA module to make it consistent with the distribution of the options in the general menu.

Cancellation of CMS Installation

In case of an error in the installation process of a CMS, allows you to cancel the installation and delete all the content that has been created during this process within the Hosting Plan.

Changes in SWPanel Roadmap.

Implements the option of traceability of the elements of the SWPanel Roadmap with the Changelog, integrating the implementation of the improvement defined in the Roadmap with the publication version of said improvement in the SWPanel ChangeLog.

Direct payment of invoices

A direct payment process for pending invoices has been generated, implementing new possible payment methods. To date it only allowed to pay pending invoices with bank card, from now on it is activated as alternatives to the payment of pending invoices: PayPal, Stripe and Bank Card. This new payment option is incorporated in the context menu of the invoice list.

RHA Customer Hosting Plan Dashboard

Incorporates the display of the information box of the resource limitation assigned to the Hosting Plan contracted through the RHA module.

RHA Hosting Plan Management

Implements new button to copy directly the Hosting Plan activation URL to the Clipboard. In the Hosting Plans list, the direct access to the Hosting Plan activation link is incorporated in the contextual menu. Extends the possibility of billing a Hosting Plan to Biannual and Triannual, allowing the user to define 4 different payment formulas and activation period.

• • Fixed bug that did not allow to create new types of invoices in RHA module.
• • Fixed bug in new user registration process for SSL VPN container that did not allow to finish the process and create the new user.

Improvements

Server/Cloud Vlan IPs

The information related to a server / cloud in the service Dashboard and in the service tree has been improved by including the IPs of the server / cloud within the Vlan(s) to which it belongs. In the service Dashboard it is shown in the “Service Identification” block. In the service tree it is shown in the “Tooltip” that appears when the mouse cursor is positioned over the name of the service.

Hosting Plan Dashboard

The options available in the "command and control" bar of the Hosting Plan Dashboard have been expanded if SWPanel is accessed by service. Shortcut icons will be displayed for DNS management, mail accounts, mail aliases, distribution lists, mail autoresponders, FTP accounts, Database users and Databases. These shortcuts will appear depending on the permissions that have been assigned in the access prefil defined for the service you are entering in SWPanel.

Assignment of access profiles

Allows to select the type of profile that will be shown in the list of available profiles to apply to a service. By means of checkboxes the user can select between standard SWPanel profiles or custom profiles created by the user.

RHA Fraud Control

Improved RHA Fraud control checks, adding some additional checks to increasingly fine-tune the detection of fraudulent hires and avoid problems.

TLSA Hash

We have added the automatic generation of the TLAS Hash for SSL certificates, except Let's Encrypt. SWPanel will show the Hash of the SSL certificate in the certificate list. In addition, if the certificate corresponds to a domain registered in SWWPanel and with the Hostsnames managed by SWPanel, there will be the option to automatically create the DNS TLSA records for this domain.

TLSA record for DNS

We incorporate the new TLAS records in the SWPanel DNS management. For those services that have the synchronization with Cloudflare's Free Plan, the TLSA record management is integrated with the other DNS records in Cloudflare.

Move Hosting Plans between servers/clouds

In the process of moving Hosting Plans between different Clouds/servers, SWPanel will now take into account the space occupied by the Web, Databases and mails and will verify if the destination server/cloud has enough space to host the service to be moved.

Imposed RHA module

Incopora the selective application of tax according to the country of the client to which these taxes are to be applied. In the onboarding process for RHA customer, the country of the customer is verified and SWPanel will apply the corresponding tax according to the tax definition made in the RHA module.

• • Fixes problem in the new Hosting registrations on servers/clouds that the Hosting plan creation wizard did not correctly recognize the PHP versions installed on the server. Now SWPanel will show the possibility to activate a PHP version when creating the service according to the ones installed on the server/cloud.
• • Fixes bug in the tax management of the RHA module that when creating a new tax did not refresh the form.
• • Fixes error in the cloning process of a Cloud that sometimes did not detect the source Cloud or Cloud to be cloned.

SWPanel Logins

Implements a new, much more detailed SWPanel login attempt error checking. A total of 37 additional security checks have been created during the SWpanel Login process that return a detailed error of the problem so that users, at login time, are aware of the issue whereby SWPanel may block them from accessing.

• • Fixes error in the calculation of the hardness of passwords for new customers through RHA contracting, it did not save the result of the calculation in the RHA customer file for later revisions.
• • Fixes error in some options of the top menu of SWPanel that at the moment of selecting them did not load correctly the “loading” effect.

New RHA module Dashboard to see at a glance how your hosting reseller business is doing.

RHA Contracting Dashboard

New Dashboard with an informative summary of the bookings that have been managed through the RHA module and SWPanel. This Dashboard will give a real-time view of new customer registrations by countries, products, and days. It also shows a map of the location of the new contracts or the contracting actions so that the RHA reseller manager has a global view of the origin of its customers.

Bugs

• • Fixes error in the generation of RHA invoices, which in some country configurations, were generated without taxes.
• • Fixes error in the process of assigning domain prices to RHA customers, the extensions were not displayed by domain type and did not allow the assignment of custom prices by extension.
• • Fixed error in the domain cart during the transfer process of .eus domains, it required contact data in the transfer and did not allow to move forward without them. In .eus domains the contact data is not required and is imported from the origin registrar.

Mail autoresponder management

The management of mail autoresponders of the mail account is uncoupled.

A new general tab has been created within the Hosting plan mail management that allows to manage the mail autoresponders in a general way for that Hosting plan.

The possibility of putting notes (post-its) in the mail autoresponders to create private information on that autoresponder is incorporated.

From now on it will be possible to manage directly from the email account the autoresponders of that account or from the “Autoresponder” tab the global ones of the Hosting Plan.

Implements the activation of the RHA module for resellers.

Authcodes for .es Domains

Implements the new Esnic regulations so that the transfer of .es domains can be done through Authcodes.

Implements Self-Installable SWPanel - Self-Hosted Mode Allows SWPanel to be installed and licensed on any type of Debian Linux-based server via command line.

Implementation of local FireWall for servers Integrates the new functionality of Layer 4 FireWall installed locally on the server. It is used as the basis of the NFTables technology, and requires at least Debian Linux version 11.

Separate help menu The help section is separated as a separate menu at the top of SWPanel “Icon ?” and is also located in the side menu.

New cache system Incorporates a new caching system in the Dashboards and in the services tree to increase the loading speed and speed up the user experience.

RHA Module The RHA Module for resellers is integrated, which allows the total management of clients, Hosting Plans, invoicing system, integrated billing system, contracting management and support and communication tools with resellers.

Resource Control Module for Hosting Plans Allows the management of the maximum control of resources to be assigned to a Hosting Plan.
