Connection with Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

SWPanel allows the CUSTOMER to connect their Facebook Pages and their Instagram professional accounts in order to review, within their own panel, information about their presence on these social networks. This connection is optional, is always initiated by the CUSTOMER explicitly from their panel, and may be revoked at any time.

Access is read-only. SWPanel does not publish content, does not moderate or reply to comments, does not send or read private messages, and performs no action on behalf of the CUSTOMER.

Information collected

When the CUSTOMER authorises the connection, SWPanel accesses only the information the CUSTOMER has authorised about their own Pages and accounts, which may include:

• The identifier and name of the Facebook Pages they administer
• The identifier, username, profile picture, follower count and media count of their Instagram professional accounts
• The details of their most recent post on each of them: text, date, link, associated image, and the number of reactions and comments
• The Facebook user identifier of the person authorising the connection
• The access permissions (tokens) granted by Meta

SWPanel does not access private messages, nor the personal data of followers or of people who interact with the CUSTOMER's Pages and accounts, nor information about Pages or accounts the CUSTOMER does not administer.

Use of the information

Information obtained through Meta is used exclusively to:

• Show the CUSTOMER, within their own panel, the most recent post from each of their Pages and accounts
• Warn them when they have not published for an extended period
• Complete the SEO analysis of their website with information about their social media presence

The data obtained is not used for advertising, commercial or external marketing purposes, nor to build profiles unrelated to the operation of the service, nor to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Sharing of the information

SWPanel does not share data obtained through Meta with third parties, except in the following cases:

• Where strictly necessary for the technical operation of the service (for example, technology infrastructure providers).
• Where there is a legal obligation or a requirement from a competent authority.

Under no circumstances is data obtained from Meta sold or transferred for commercial purposes.

Storage and security

Data associated with the Meta connection is stored on secure systems, applying appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

SWPanel does not store Facebook or Instagram passwords. Authorisation is carried out using secure tokens managed by Meta's OAuth system, and the data is visible only to the CUSTOMER within their own panel.

Data retention

Data obtained through Meta is retained while the connection remains active, and is refreshed with each periodic analysis of the website. If the CUSTOMER revokes the connection, it is deleted immediately.

Once the CUSTOMER's SWPanel account is deleted, the associated data will be securely erased or anonymised, unless applicable regulations require it to be retained for a specific period.

Data deletion and user rights

The CUSTOMER may revoke access and delete all associated data at any time, through any of these routes:

• From their panel: the SEO section of their service, Social tab, Disconnect button. The stored permissions and all information obtained from Meta are deleted immediately, and the application's authorisation is revoked at Meta.
• From their Facebook account: Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites; removing SWPanel and requesting deletion of the data. Meta forwards the request to us and it is handled automatically.
• By request through the contact channels indicated in this Privacy Policy.

The CUSTOMER can check the status of a deletion request, as well as the full instructions, at go.swpanel.com/seo/facebook_borrado.asp.

Compliance with Meta policies

SWPanel complies with the Meta Platform Terms and the Meta Developer Policies. The data obtained is used solely to provide the functionality described in this document, the minimum necessary permissions are requested, and no data is transferred to third parties for purposes other than those stated here.

Changes to this provision

SWPanel may update this section to adapt it to regulatory or technical changes, or to Meta requirements. Any modifications will be published together with the updated Privacy Policy.
