Domain errors

If your domain shows some kind of error, it is due to a failure in any of the processes (registration, transfer, expiration...). Here are some of the most common errors:

Cancelled by Timeout

The transfer process has not been accepted (via confirmation email to the Administrative contact of the domain) and has failed because the Acceptance link has expired.

You must restart the transfer process.

Invalid authorization information / Authorization error

The authorization code for the domain transfer, also called 'Authcode', is wrong.

Contact the registrar where the domain is currently located so they can give you a new one.

xml Error: Missing Data

This usually happens with .ES domains: Data is missing in the domain. The administrative and/or technical contact is not a physical person.

Check the contacts assigned to the domain, as you may not have any assigned. The administrative and technical contacts for .ES domains must be natural persons with an ID card.

Required parameter missing

Data is missing to perform the transfer process.

Check the data you have indicated to perform the transfer. Normally when you get this error it is because the domain authcode is missing.

Required parameter missing: ns

Some required parameter is missing.

Check the DNS data of the domain: if you have assigned it and if they are correct.

clientCancelled

Cancellation by the client.

The client has cancelled the domain process (transfer).

An EXCEPTION happened! Can not get info from whois.internic.net

An error has occurred and no information is available.

It is a temporary error, you must manually restart it.

www.swpanel.com -> Click on the blue left side menu -> Domains and Certificates -> Domain Portfolio -> Drop down the "Manage" tab that appears on the right of the desired domain -> Reset transfer

Object status prohibits operation

The domain status prohibits the action (usually transfer).

The domain is locked: unlock it from the domain's 'Manage' drop-down menu--> Unlock domain

If it is not locked, contact Free Support

The domain has been registered less than 60 days ago

Object is not eligible for transfer

This message appears when the domain has been registered less than 60 days ago and although it is not locked, it is still within the 60 days of being registered.

Missing administrative contact

The contact is missing. Create a contact record and assign it. If you already have a contact record created, assign it.

  • Create contact sheet: Domains--> 'Manage' domain--> Administrative Contact Details--> Change contact--> 'Create administrative contact'.
  • Assign contact tab: Domains--> 'Manage' domain--> Administrative Contact Data--> Change contact--> 'Assign'.

Unknown

Cancelled, documentation not provided

ES domains such as .org.es or .edu.es require documentation to be sent to ESNIC. If not submitted, the process fails.

Authcode missing

Incorrect Authcode.

Contact the registrar where the domain is currently located so they can give you a new one.

Cancelled

Process cancelled.

Transfer order deleted. Previous Status: Transfer waiting for Admin Contact Approval

Process cancelled.

Object does not exist

One of the parameters is not correct. For example, the specified DNS does not exist.

Check your domain configuration.

Technical contact is missing

The technical contact is missing.

Create a new contact file, or assign a new one.

Domain name is reserved by the registry

The domain is reserved, it means that the registrar of the domain extension keeps the name you wanted to register.

You will have to cancel the registration by processing the payment of the registration fee and then you can proceed to register a new domain. How to register a domain name with SW Hosting

Cancelled by contact

The process has been cancelled by the domain's administrative contact

Request denied

The domain is reserved, it means that the registrar of the domain extension keeps the name you wanted to register.

You will have to cancel the registration by processing the payment of the registration fee and then you can proceed to register a new domain:

Domains--> slash 'www'--> enter the new domain--> Search--> Register-->Finish payment gateway.

Object exists

Domain is busy: not available. The domain already exists and is busy. You will have to register a new one. How to register a domain name with SW Hosting

Parameter value range error

Some of the parameters are not within the correct values. For example: renew the domain for 15 years (maximum 10).

Check your domain configuration.

Error: Contact with company ID defined as natural person** **xml error: 2306 - The PCA must be a natural person.

Company TIN and legal form 'natural person' is not correct.

Modify these parameters to be NIF, legal form 'company' or 'identity document' and 'natural person'.

Domain in redemption period

The expired domain is in the last redemption period in which you can recover the domain before it is deleted and becomes free.

  • If you can, recover the domain from the SWPanel--> Domains--> Manage domain.
  • If you cannot recover it, please contact us by opening an Administrative Ticket

##Contact 5878 error: Only Individual contact con be created from non European Union Member states.

A .eu can only be created if the owner belongs to an EU country.

  • Simply change the country to Spain and restart the registration.
